Les commentateurs étrangers scrutent de très près la campagne électorale française.
L’affaire Fillon et la division de la gauche offrent un boulevard au Front National, qui fait planer son ombre sur le paysage politique français. Les sondages donnent Marine Le Pen (candidate du parti d’extrême-droite) largement en tête du premier tour, et son électorat semble particulièrement déterminé à la soutenir, malgré les accusations d’emploi fictif au Parlement européen qui pèsent contre elle.
De quoi inquiéter et de quoi s’interroger sur l’influence grandissante des populismes et de l’euroscepticisme qui minent la France et plus généralement l’Europe, si l’on en croit la progression de partis d’extrême-droite dans de nombreux autres pays…
